              Stretchy Wrap

A Stretchy Wrap is a long piece of stretch knit fabric (think t-shirt material) that you wrap around you and your baby. Stretchy wraps should only be used for front carries. The stretch fabric is difficult to tighten properly and safely in a back carry, so stretchy wraps should never be used for back carries.

Pros: Great for newborns and young infants, up to about 15-18 lbs. Can be pre-tied so baby can be popped in and out leaving the carrier in place.

Cons: Not supportive enough for heavier babies, not safe for back carries.
