Significant others, siblings, prospective parents and all those interested in babywearing are welcome at all events. We love to see Dads and others at our meetings, babywearing is a great way to bond with your baby and its definitely not just for Moms!
Please note that we are currently searching for a new permanent location, so please let us know if you have any suggestions. In the meantime, please refer to the calendar information, because our meeting location may be different each month.
Boston Babywearers is a non-profit group that survives solely upon donations by it's members and the public. Please consider giving a donation to our cause. We are not always able to request donations (ie locations such as libraries have strict rules), but can always accept offered donations regardless of where we are meeting.
Weekday Meetings
Weekday meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 10 am–12 pm. We are beginning a new format for our meetings and will now focus on a discussion topic each month, instead of our usual BW101 talk. Please check the list below to see the theme for the meeting you are attending. Don't worry, if you are new to BW or have a specific question outside our discussion topic, we are still happy to help. We will also soon have our BW101 presentation available online and to watch on screen during the meeting for those interested.
Often times leaders are available after the meeting for additional questions or to socialize. But if you have a specific question or would like to borrow a carrier please join us early so we can make sure the appropriate person is available to help you. We also have a limited number of some popular carriers, so please be aware that carriers are available on a first come, first served basis for borrowing at meetings. The weekend meeting is generally more relaxed and focuses on one to one question/answer sessions more than a discussion topic or full BW101 overview. If you have a specific question or are interested in a particular carrier, feel free to email us before the meeting to have us cover a topic or find out if the carrier is available, as we may not have as many leaders or the full library at every weekend meeting.
