PLEASE NOTE: NEW LOCATION FOR SUMMER MEETINGS AND DIFFERENT TIME FOR JULY MEETING.
Do you want to soothe your crying baby?
Do you want to cuddle your child but still have your hands free to take care of dishes and laundry?
Do you want to run after your toddler without worrying about your newborn?
Do you want to hop on the T without lugging your stroller up and down the stairs?
If any of these describe you, then Boston
Babywearers is here for you! We can help you bond
with your baby while relieving your aching back and
arms. We can help you find a carrier that's right for
you and then—just as important—we can
teach you how to use it.
Want to try a carrier before
buying? Check one out from our lending library—it's
free! (Please bring cash or check for 50% deposit,
refunded upon return of carrier.)
Meetings We meet the
third Wednesday of every month. Our summer meetings are July 16, from 10 am to noon, and August 20, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
This summer, we will be meeting at the Robbins Library in Arlington Center,
at 700 Massachusetts Avenue. The meetings will be held in the Community Room, which is to the left as you enter the children's area.
If you are driving, there is limited parking beside the library and at the yellow Robbins House. There is also on-street parking and a municipal lot across the street. If you
are coming by public transport, you can take bus #77
from the Harvard or Porter T stations, buses #67, 79 and 350 from
the Alewife T station or bus #87 from the Lechmere or Davis Square T stations.
We also have informal get-togethers from time to
time. To be informed of these impromptu meetings,
please join our Yahoo
Group.
Significant others, older kids, prospective parents
and all those interested in babywearing are welcome at
all events.
If you have any questions, please contact info@bostonbabywearers.com.
